DYG.T.S. No. 158 and 1658 series are in the same structure as that of DYG.T.S. No. 158 and
1658 series respectively. But, these styles have an additional strength because the upper metal
jacket is folded inside the lower jacket. They are particularly good for larger diameter flanges
of large tongue and groove type in the equipment which are placed vertically because of their
strong structure.

On pipe flanges subject to severer temperature and pres-
sure.On cover of pressure vessel.

They are composed of a cushion material of soft asbestos mill-board or asbestos yarn. They are
round cross sectioned. They are round cross sectioned. They can be shaped not only round but
also oval, around, pear, square and diamond.

Upon request. Customers are kindly requested to furnish
dimensional drawings when ordering irregular shapes
other than round one.

On manhole and header of tubulous boiler, steam trap,
sight glass and combustion engine where a space factor is
accounted much of.

They are composed of a cushion material such as soft asbestos millboard, cerabestos, compre-
ssed asbestos sheet and P.T.F.E. sheet with two sheets of corr-ugated thin metal jackets. A comp-
lete sealing can be assured with low seating stress. A labyrinth effect can also be expected from
corrugation.

Standard sizes are prepared for ANSI pipe flanges. Standard structure and dimensions are as
specified below.

On pipe flanges handling steam, hot oil, oil gas, solvent
vapor in oil refining and petrochemical plants.
On valve bonnets and cover of pressure vessels.

are used on small diameter flanges with narrow gasket seating face where DYG.T.S. No. 152 or
158 series are not suitable from their structural reason.
